As promised I am posting pictures of my upcoming cigar box class. This adorable box houses an even more adorable mini album. Pure Gypsie!!! This class is currently sold out with a waiting list, I will be teaching it again in September so stay tuned for future class dates.

Summer Lovin' Challenge

Wow it has been over a month since my last post, and a lot has happened in that short time. I spent the day with the gypsy girls Deb and Paula, you will never meet two nicer or more talented girls! Love them!! Thanks girls for such a great day.

We went to California to visit family and friends and had an absolute fabulous time! Lots of new photos to be scrapbooked!

Now that we are home I have been enjoying the slower pace of summer, it has really been good to get the creative mojo going!

I designed this card for the Inspired Scrapper. I was challenged to use an etsy store product as my inspiration.

I created these two layouts using The Girls Paperie for my 5-A-Lous class in June at The Scrap Yard. This is such happy paper.

Here is a sneak peak of my 5-A-Lous class for July. This month I used the Queen Bee line by Pink Paislee. I will be teaching this class at The Scrap Yard on Monday July 26 @ 6pm and Thursday July 29 @ 10:30 am.

I am working on a new little treasure box that I will be teaching in August. Look for sneak peaks in the coming week.

Pink Paislee Shadow Box Book

I've created another shadow box book, this time using Pink Paislee's Queen Bee line and I absolutely love how it turned out! I will be teaching this beautiful project at the Scrap Yard on June 14 from 10:30 - 1:30, to sign up call 403-271-2225.

The photo I used is one of my all time favorites, it is my me at age 3 with my Aunt Mary. Don't you just love the hairdoo, so 60's! Thanks for stopping by, have a great day!

My New Journey

I have been overwhelmed, but feeling very blessed, by the amount of emails and phone calls I have received since announcing my resignation. I didn't realize how my teaching touched so many lives over the last five years. Some may think scrapbooking is just a hobby, but for me it is so much more. It's building friendships, sharing inspiration and most of all it is sharing our love of this great craft we call scrapbooking! I would like to thank each and everyone of you for sharing your stories with me, I am a better person for knowing you.

Many of you have voiced your concern over not being able to take anymore "Susan Classes", but not to worry, I will be teaching a full schedule of classes and crops at The Scrap Yard!!

This is the beginning of a great new creative journey that I hope you will share with me.

Wow a whole day dedicated to us scrapbookers! I hope you are scrapbooking your little hearts out today. I am so happy I found this little hobby 15 years ago, little did I know that it would end up being such a huge part of my life. Through the years I have met and learned from so many fabulous women and I am grateful.
