My New Journey

I have been overwhelmed, but feeling very blessed, by the amount of emails and phone calls I have received since announcing my resignation. I didn't realize how my teaching touched so many lives over the last five years. Some may think scrapbooking is just a hobby, but for me it is so much more. It's building friendships, sharing inspiration and most of all it is sharing our love of this great craft we call scrapbooking! I would like to thank each and everyone of you for sharing your stories with me, I am a better person for knowing you.

Many of you have voiced your concern over not being able to take anymore "Susan Classes", but not to worry, I will be teaching a full schedule of classes and crops at The Scrap Yard!!

I have many classes scheduled throughout June and a crop on June 19! To sign up you can call The Scrap Yard at 403-271-2225.

This is the beginning of a great new creative journey that I hope you will share with me.

Wow a whole day dedicated to us scrapbookers! I hope you are scrapbooking your little hearts out today. I am so happy I found this little hobby 15 years ago, little did I know that it would end up being such a huge part of my life. Through the years I have met and learned from so many fabulous women and I am grateful.

Another great challenge going on at the Inspired Scrapper ! This weeks challenge was to use this photo as a color inspiration.

This is what happens when Fancy Pants meets Tim Holtz....pure bliss! I created this layout using Fancy Pants' Road Show and the new Tim Holtz sizzix die.

A Day At The Park

I created this Maya Road tree album using pictures of my kidlets at the park. This was a quick and fun little album to put together. I did add lots of sewing and tags to give it that extra special Susan touch! :)

Inspired Scrapper Scraplift Challenge

This week my challenge at The Inspired Scrapper was to scraplift a layout! Scraplifting, we all do it at some time or another. Sometimes you just need that inspiration from a fellow scrapbooker or magazine. I loved that challenge and knew right away what layout I wanted to lift, I chose a layout from the very talented Kimmithy Achord called "blow me a kiss".
