Our Family Treasures a Vintage Album

This little cutie was a class I taught a while back and never posted, Shame on me! I cut this album out of chipboard and used yummy My Minds Eye papers.

Home Is Where Your Story Begins

I love the way this layout turned out. I used lots of distress ink and texture, some sewing and hand made flowers and wala there you have it...a total Susan page! For those of you who have taken my classes know that these are some of my favorite things.

So Blessed To Have Each Other

A layout of my girls laughing together. Which I might add is rare these days. The whole girl thing drives me crazy some days. I hope that one day they will realize how lucky they are to have each other, until then I have these occasional glimpses of friendship between the two of them.

I will be teaching this cute little make and take at the Scrap 4 Kids kickoff crop on October 17. For more information on this event go to scrap4kids.org.

7 Gypsies Challenge

Over at the 7 Gypsies blog, starting in September they will be having monthly challenges! Sounds like fun, huh :) They had a few of their designers use some of the metal edges, which by the way I LOVE and have used a million times on many projects. So I thought it would be fun to pull them out again but use them in a way I haven't used them before. This is what I came up with, I actually sewed throught the metal and I love the way it turned out! Thanks 7 Gypsies for the challenge, I can't wait to see what's next.

If you have never visited the 7 Gypsies blog http://sevengypsies.blogspot.com/, you should check it out.

Love this little guy!

My little guy is about to start his first year of hockey. Since we have gotten his gear he has tried it on several times a day. I love that he is so excited to start, So of course I had to create a layout.

I have been using alot of My Minds Eye lately, I just can't seem to get enough of them right now!
