Inspired Scrapper Scraplift Challenge

This week my challenge at The Inspired Scrapper was to scraplift a layout! Scraplifting, we all do it at some time or another. Sometimes you just need that inspiration from a fellow scrapbooker or magazine. I loved that challenge and knew right away what layout I wanted to lift, I chose a layout from the very talented Kimmithy Achord called "blow me a kiss".

Celebrating Creative Scrappers 2nd Birthday!!

Creative Scrappers is celebrating their 2nd birthday for the entire month of April! Every Tuesday and Thursday they will have a new sketch reveal using one of a kind sketches created by readers or past designers! I joined in the birthday fun and created a page using this sketch created by Beckie Dreyer. I was actually a little intimidated by this sketch, but absolutely love how my layout turnd out!

7 Gypsies March Product Challenge

Every month 7 Gypsies has a product challenge on their blog. This month the challenge was to create using the stacked accordian album. I have been wanting to use one of these albums for a very long time and finally did!
I created this little album using paper from 7 Gypsies new Avignon collection. There is lots of ink and masking on this little baby, it was fun using some new Tim Holtz inks and masking techniques.

Spring Fever!

Can you even believe this weather, I am lovin it! It is hard to concentrate when all I can think about is spending the day out in this gorgeous weather. I have been working hard on upcoming classes that I can show just a bit later. I have also created a new class that will be offered at Scrapbooker's Bliss called Take 5 with Susan. I will be selecting 5 new products from one scrapbook line and we will create 2 fabulous 12x12 layouts. This month I have selected products from Anna Griffin that you will love.

Over at The Inspired Scrapper I was challenged to create a layout using style/colour trends for this spring. This is the layout I created.
