Wooo Hooo I am on the Creative Scrappers design team! I am so excited to be working with such talented girls. If you have not been to creative scrappers you should go check their site at creativescrappers.blogspot.com. You will find tons of inspiration and fun sketches too!
If you haven't been over to Creative Scrappers you need to go! There are a lot of talented ladies and lots of inspiration, not to mention they do a weekly sketch challenge. What a great way to get those layouts done, and have a little fun at the same time! Here is what I came up with for this weeks sketch.
I just love this photo of my husband and miss maddie. They both love the turkey leg, I think it is their favorite part of Thanksgiving.
I woke up this morning to more snow!!!!! Arg it is only October. It is supposed to be warm this weekend and hopefully this snow will all dissappear. I guess you can take the girl out of California but you can't take the California out of the girl.
On to better things...I will be teaching this little jewel at Scrapbooker's Bliss on Thursday evening. This album is made from the 7Gypsies envelope album but it is hard to tell because I have altered the envelopes. Some of the envelopes aren't envelopes anymore....they are much better than envelopes!
I love the way this layout turned out. I used lots of distress ink and texture, some sewing and hand made flowers and wala there you have it...a total Susan page! For those of you who have taken my classes know that these are some of my favorite things.
A layout of my girls laughing together. Which I might add is rare these days. The whole girl thing drives me crazy some days. I hope that one day they will realize how lucky they are to have each other, until then I have these occasional glimpses of friendship between the two of them.
I will be teaching this cute little make and take at the Scrap 4 Kids kickoff crop on October 17. For more information on this event go to scrap4kids.org.
